Avid painter, celebrated sailor and can often be found along coastal New York and New England visiting farmer's markets and seaside shorelines taking it all in to bring back to my studio. My work tends to be whimsical and I don't take it too seriously. Life is fun and painting is something I have been doing naturally since childhood and only in the last few years has become my real job thanks to a few good friends and many oyster painting lovers.

As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy and to make plans.
